The impacts of climate change in Bavaria for the climate sector can be explored here. Observation data is available for the period 1961-2020 (based on the German Climate and Weather Service) and scenario data for a historical period 1961-2020 and a future period 2021-2099 (Cordex Europe). The selected parameters are displayed as color maps, time series plots and tables. Three integrated zoom levels can take you to more detailed representations of the districts or municipalities. Two future climate scenarios (RCPs 2.6 and 8.5) are presented, one on a 2°C and one on a business-as-usual pathway.
