Geodata

Data from the Federal Office of Cartography and Geodesy (as of 01.01.2011) were used to represent the administrative regions of Germany (federal state and district borders). The basis for the rivers shown was the nationwide river network DLM1000W (digital landscape model on a scale of 1:1,000,000, object area water) from the Federal Environment Agency (UBA), as of June 2004. For the forest areas, we have based ourselves on the brochure "Discover the forest" from the BMEL. The mountain layers are taken from a map of the main natural areas in Germany (Federal Agency for Nature Conservation, 2008).
